DEDAYO GBOLAGUN – BIOGRAPHY
Dedayo Gbolagun is a passionate worship leader and music minister with a mission to reconcile hearts to God through worship. Her journey in music ministry spans nearly two decades, beginning with her role as the choir leader of the Protestant Church at Queen’s College, Lagos.
Though she graduated as a physiotherapist from Obafemi Awolowo University, Dedayo’s deep calling in worship led her to pursue extensive training in both the art and heart of worship. She has earned certifications from respected institutions, including Tenstrings School of Music, Lagos (where she majored in voice and keyboard), The Vessel Academy, and the “Worship Is WIDE” program for music ministers, under the leadership of Minister David Nkennor.
As a gifted songwriter, Dedayo has written songs like Yahweh, Ogo, Glory, Iwo Nikan, and others, each carrying a powerful touch that has blessed lives across diverse communities. Her music ministry is distinguished by a tangible sense of God’s presence and varied manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Her worship creates a prophetic atmosphere, acting as a ladder and portal where people can experience profound encounters with God.
Dedayo also hosts Worship Banquet, a monthly gathering where she creates a space for pure worship, serving God what she describes as His most loved “delicacy”—true worship.
She is joyfully married to her best friend, Babajide, and together they make the
ir home in Lagos with their two “mighty kings.”
