“Expectation,” the highly anticipated new single from Elias Dummer, Juno and GMA Canada Covenant Award-winning singer/songwriter and co-founder of The City Harmonic. Penned by Dummer and Ben Cantelon (Kari Jobe, The Belonging Co) and co-produced by Brent Milligan (Colony House, David Crowder Band), “Expectation” is the first release from Dummer’s upcoming full-length project, The Work Vol. II.
“’Expectation’ is a call to worship—naming the various states and struggles we each experience at different times in our lives when approaching God,” he adds. “When the concept first came to me, I had no idea just how urgent and encouraging this song would become in the wake of the past year and a half.”
