UK-based Ghanaian gospel singer, vocal powerhouse, and songwriter Josephine Benson hits the gospel scene with a new single and lyric video titled, “In This Place,” produced by Kayode Omosa.
This new song serves her first body of work, self-composed.
Offering her thoughts on the song, Benson says; “In the place of life circumstances we tend to fret and forget who God is in our lives.”
“The story of Joseph from Genesis chapter 37 to chapter 50 is told as a testimony of divine providence. His brothers sold him out into slavery, his master’s wife accused him falsely, and he was thrown into prison for what he did not do.” – she continues.
“But in each of these places of trial and affliction the Bible says; “God was with Joseph”, “God Favoured Joseph”. In the place of slavery and conviction, he was the prime minister of the most powerful nation. This is the message this song passes to you.
Beloved, in that very place you find yourself, there are miracles, healings, testimonies and glory for you. ISAIAH 43:2-3a. All you have to do is to reach out in faith and receive. Mark 10:46-52.” – Josephine Benson concludes.
She is a professional midwife, musician, businesswoman, mentor, and an ambassador of Christ by calling. She went to the Korle-Bu Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Accra Ghana to pursue her midwifery career. After over 10 years of practice, she relocated to work in the U.K.
Josephine Benson enjoys reading, singing and mentoring. She has mentored many youth in her local church in Ghana and still mentors many across the globe.
