Mandisa released a brand new single this week titled “Ruins.” “One of the things I love about worship music is that it is a reminder to my soul of who God is and what He can do,” Mandisa shared on social media about her new release. “Coming out of a particularly difficult year, ‘Ruins’ is a reminder of how God can make beauty from ashes. That is a promise I am clinging to.” The track is now available across all DSPs and can be heard below.
Mandisa is currently working on a worship release for 2021. In November 2020, Mandisa released “It’s Not Over” featuring Jasmine Murray and Rita Springer. This radio-friendly track followed her May 2020 debut of the single “You Keep Hope Alive,” with worship leader and Gotee Recording artist Jon Reddick. Penned by Reddick, a “Unity Version” of the song, featured vocal performances in English, Xhosa, Spanish, Samoan, Italian, Haitian Creole, Tagalong and Mandarin Chinese. Mandisa kicked off 2021 with another new song titled “Breakthrough.”
