IACMP 2019 December Edition Top 10 Nigerian Gospel Music

The International Association of Christian Media Practitioners [IACMP] Official Nigerian Gospel Music Top 10 Chart for the month of December is out!

This month, Afrocentric Gospel music artiste Testimony Mr Jaga takes the lead with the wave-making song “Jesus,” just as last month’s chart-topper “Na Your Way” by Nosa is completely knocked off the chart. “Done Me Well” by Contemporary Gospel music minister Preye Odede, featuring Tim Godfrey moves 9 steps up to take the number 2 position while “Toya” by Tim Godfrey featuring Israel Houghton drops 3 steps.

The IACMP Official Nigerian Gospel Music Top 10 Chart uses popular votes from about 52 Gospel music blogs & online radio stations all over Nigeria; online music statistics such as views, downloads and streams, external Gospel music charts and the decision of a 5-man panel as criteria to determine the song that makes the monthly chart. The chart is poised to become the most credible Gospel music chart in Nigeria.

Official Nigerian Gospel Music Top 10 Chart [May 2020] – Dunsin Oyekan At Number 1 Spot Two Months In A Row!

The May edition of the Official Nigerian Gospel Music Top 10 Chart, as compiled by The International Association of Christian Media Practitioners [IACMP], is out! Surprisingly Gospel music minister Dunsin Oyekan has retained the number 1 spot with his newly released single “At All Cost.”

Dunsin Oyekan’s music has enjoyed outstanding critical reviews from IACMP that has kept him at the top of the chart at different times. The May edition makes it the 2nd time in a row that Dunsin Oyekan has maintained the number 1 spot. It should be recalled that the critically acclaimed “Fragrance to Fire” stole the spot for the month of April.

“At All Cost,” released on the 10th of May, 2020 has garnered over 168,000 views on Youtube

Coming in at Number 2 spot and knocking Steve Crown’s “Angels Bow” off that spot is “If God Be For Me” by Nosa. Released on the 3rd of May, it is already approaching a hundred-thousand milestone on Youtube. Sammie Okposo moves up 2 steps to claim the number 3 spot with “Nobody Can.”

The video version of the May edition of the countdown features the delectable OAP BellaRose Okojie, teaming up with Amachree Superstar.

lACMP Official Nigerian Gossip Music Top 10 Chart (APRIL 2020)

The International Association of Christian Media Practitioners [IACMP] is out with the Official Nigerian Gospel Music Top 10 Chart for the month of April and Dunsin Oyekan is back at the number 1 spot again! This time with the critically acclaimed “Fragrance to Fire.”

It should be recalled that IACMP opened its 2020 Top 10 chart with “Most High” by Dunsin Oyekan at the top of the list. Also the maiden edition of the IACMP Official Nigerian Gospel Music Top 10 Chart had “Breathe” by Dunsin Oyekan at the number 2 position.

The song “Fragrance to Fire” recorded live at Covenant Nation, Lagos, and released on the 15th of March, 2020 has garnered over 400K views on Youtube. It had 50% of the total votes – the highest number of votes – amongst members of IACMP. These members are lead representatives of media platforms all across Nigeria.

Coming in at Number 2 is Steve Crown with “Angels Bow” featuring American Gospel singer Phil Thompson. Follwing closely at number 3 is “Mai Taimaoko” by Solomon Lange.

Moving up from the 7th position in January is Mercy Chinwo’s “Akamdinelu”. The song recently gained an official video which was released on the 12th of April. The video has garnered close to 500K views on Youtube. The audio has over 2.5million views as at the time of report.

Following Mercy Chinwo is Sammie Okposo’s “Nobody Can” at the 5th position, following the release of “Nobody Can”, it quickly made it to the top of iTunes Nigeria chart for the number of downloads and streams.
