US-based Ivorian, Isabelle Kbmdi (Kabemdi) delivers a colourful video for her eccentric song of thanksgiving tagged “Only You.”
Isabelle Kbmdi, who is often called Kore Boanon Desiree Marie Isabelle by close friends and family members, turns up in this fast-paced Soukous groove to appreciate God for his goodness.
With a strong passion for music and anointing, Isabelle Kbmdi shares that, “my journey in life has been orchestrated by God. Coming from a family of five siblings who are great singers, I never saw myself at the forefront. I preferred background vocals and singing as a backup.
I have been in choir all my life but at some point, I decided to stop singing and pursued my career and studies, but God kept pulling. God never stopped revealing to me, my place as a music minister. I have had many dreams, where I have stood ministering to a large crowd and audience.
I took an experiment of recording my own songs through software I downloaded on my PC before I got conviction and the inspiration to write songs began to manifest fully in my life”
“Only You is a product of this process God took me through and I am so glad that God never left me nor forsook me.” – Isabelle Kbmdi concludes.
The very colourful and amazing video is directed and shot by Oluyinka Davids for iFocus.
