About Solomon Plate
Solomon Moyo was born on 2nd November in Lusaka. Known as Solomon Plate, he is an upcoming talented drummer, singer and producer. Plate grew up in a Christian home and occasionally played drums at a local church. He discovered he could sing at a very early age and participated in the first ever muvi tv’s kids star show in 2007 where he won the weekly round. A few years later he met producer and artist Church who taught him the basics of music production. He later on met co founder of Radio cafe (formally known as IM audio & Music) Ian Chitundu who gave him an oppotunity to learn from him which led to an internship which offered him more studio time to develop his craft. During this internship, Solomon Plate also had the opportunity of meeting and working with Mag44. He would often be his backing vocalist at various events. Mag44 later on signed him under Brave only music as a SOLO artist. Solomon Plate has produced songs like Nkamubombele by Church, i say by the proof and has produced songs on Mutale and Jay rox’s albums. He can be described as focused and determined. His taste in music is versatile, from rhumba to EDM (electronic dance music).
