“It’s an assignment that I’ve got to do” – CDO

Music Executive, CDO had said the Campus Tour initiative is an assignment he was instructed to do.
Speaking at the Press Conference for the event on Wednesday 22nd of March in Lagos, the singer mentioned that the initiative for the tour started after God told him to take the gospel to unusual places where it is difficult for the church to reach.
When asked about his motivation and drive for the event which has no major financial sponsor, he said “For me, it is not a drive. It is an assignment in which I have to do. The more I obey, the better for me. It’s a calling.”
The convener of the movement further added that movement is a means of reaching out to more people especially the youths with the gospel of Christ through urban gospel music.
The Press Conference was held in Lagos with other artistes including Gaise Baba, Timi Phoenix, Mendo Ayo, Dabo Williams, Quiz Tha Great, Fega The Billionaire, Fidocleff, Bouphy and many others in attendance.
The tour is set to kick off on March 31st at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife before moving to other institutions in the South western part of the country.
