Hip-Hop artist J. Crum teamed up with Rapzilla Freshman Eric Heron for “What You Want.”
J. Crum shares, “I wrote this song proclaiming the victory that we have in Christ. Many times we have the world trying to force a persona on us. They want us to talk, walk, act, and dress in a certain way. Many times I’ve run into others having the perception that because I didn’t conform to these categories that the art I create isn’t up to standard. This song really attempts to flesh out my rebuttal to those beliefs.” He continues, “As soon as my producer, Tory Hooks sent me the beat I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I wanted to have fun, but also drive home a point. I also got the homie Eric Heron to help me on the track and I felt he added smooth dynamic to the track.”
