Alex Flowz aka Obilor Nwachinemere Alex is a gospel rap artist and activist, A unique songwriter. Based in Lagos, founder of JAMM-CONCEPT, an online prayer, and soul-winning platform.
Ekpere which means Prayer in the Igbo language is a song about the power of prayer inspired by Matthew 7 vs 7 which says “Ask and you shall receive…” It is the first single of our collaborative project called Jesus Talk. Ekpere is a Christian Highlife song that also has elements of Afrobeats. This beautiful piece was produced by the gifted Dreamz Kid (Nolly).
Zamar’s and Alexflowz’s prayer is that this song helps to build our prayer lives because a prayerless Christian is a powerless one.
Ekpere is dedicated to Zamar’s mum (Mrs. Ijoma – Wosu) as well as all praying mothers who gave us a great foundation for prayer.
